Daily connection to the source of all life will greatly assist you to create a life that is more joyful and fulfilling.
So how do you get the best results from meditation?
Set aside 15 to 20 minutes.
Make certain that you will not be disturbed in any way.
If you like, play some soft melodic music, light a candle and create an atmosphere that is relaxing, nurturing and calming for you.
Find a comfortable place to sit.You will need to hold this position for at least 15 minutes.
As you sit in comfort, take three deep breaths.
Release all that you do not need to be with you.
Feel within you your intention to align with and merge with your soul.
As you feel your intention to do this, state your intention.
This is an important step in your meditative practice.
I now intend to merge with my Inner Self, my Greater Self—my soul.
Close your eyes and focus on your breathing.
Allow your breathing to become restful and fairly full.
Remember to breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Relax and open your lower jaw slightly.
If you find it difficult to breathe in through the nose, then it is all right to breathe in through the mouth.
Simply continue breathing and focus only on the breath.
Bring your attention to your breastbone in the centre of your chest and focus on it as you feel it rise and fall with the breath.
Continue to focus on the breath.
Consciously refocus on your breathing if any thoughts trundle across your mind.
Continue this meditation for at least 15-20 minutes.
When you sense movement—this movement could be a sense of rotation within you or you may have an involuntary movement of your neck—or your arms may feel as if they are lifting—you know you are deeply connected with your soul and the movement is your soul adjusting your energies.
Do this mediation each day.
Meditate when you feel energised.
The goal is to merge consciously with your soul-self.
