Everything works according to the Law of Attraction.

The Law of Attraction is all-pervading, and you will attract to yourself the object of your attention. If you seek that which uplifts you, educates you for a higher path, assists you to know more about yourself, it will come. If you seek that which uplifts and inspires you, it will come. If you seek that which helps you understand who you truly are, it will come. If you seek that which helps you understand the Universe and how its laws work, that too will come to you. Everything works according to the Law of Attraction; that which you think of will be drawn unto you.

There is only one truth for the soul, and that truth is union with the Light whence it originated.

We incarnate in matter to experience it, and then we return to the Source or Cosmic Oversoul. That is all. 

But to return to the Source, one must be purified from contact with matter. If you can accomplish this after one existence, that is perfect bliss, but it is rare. Most of the time, the soul must incarnate several times before it is completely free of corruption. To experience matter fully, it must be divided into two halves, male and female. That is its true essence. To return to the Source, both halves must be purified and united beforehand.

Sorrow and self-sacrifice are important lessons.

Each soul passes through several lives to experience matter, to learn new lessons, but because matter is dense and corruptive, purification is necessary in the measure in which the soul corrupts itself. Souls interact and often act as each other’s athanors to effect purification. Some spirits advance more rapidly than others in their path of experiential search, but eventually, they all return to the Light whence they originated. When a soul falls into the trap of identifying with the material world completely, breaking one or more of the Cosmic Laws in the process, it must be purified through sorrow and self-sacrifice in the course of many existences. That is why sorrow and self-sacrifice are such important lessons. As long as you reject them, you reject purification—you impede your soul’s advancement on your evolutionary path. How long it will take depends entirely on you.
