What will make you well?

Repeat the following prayer each morning first thing on waking. Also, whenever you feel bad, stop whatever you are doing, and repeat the prayer—

O Lord Christ, open the door of my body to perfect health. 

O Lord Christ, open the door of my mind to perfect understanding. 

O Lord Christ, open the door of my heart to perfect spiritual realisation.

Then say to yourself very positively, 

This prayer is answered. I am getting better. I cannot expect it instantly, but as the door of my body, of my mind, and of my heart is opened, all three of them are co-operating to let in the vital life-giving Christ force, which will make me well. 

Continue this until your subconscious mind takes it up and literally builds it into your body, in all your atoms, and in all your thoughts.

The Healing Prayer

If the world's sorrow oppresses you, remember that the very best you can do toward lifting that heavy load is to make a centre of joy and gladness in your own heart. 

Rejoice in the Lord, and again I say unto you rejoice. 

I wish I could impress this word rejoice upon your mind so that you could impress it upon the consciousness of every atom of your body, which consciousness in the aggregate is your subconscious mind. 

If you could register this idea of rejoicing within your subconscious mind, you would literally breathe health into your body. 

Try to realise what health really means. It means doing the Will of the Father on earth in your physical body, as it is done in Heaven in your spiritual body by your Higher Self, who is one with the Father; in which body, there is no sickness, nor sorrow, nor death. 

Take up this thought and meditate upon it while constantly repeating the Healing Prayer. 

Also, repeat the Lord's Prayer, and at the same time, feel that you are creating a circle of life and health and joy that is filled with a bright light which sends its beams far out into the darkness to lead many a one to joy and peace.

O Thou loving and helpful Master Jesus! 

Thou who gavest to Thy disciples power to heal the sick!

We, recognising Thee, and realising Thy divine presence within us, 

Ask Thee to lay Thy hands upon us in healing love.

Cleanse us from all our sins, 

And by the divine power of Omnipotent Life, 

Drive out the atoms of inharmony and disease, 

And fill our bodies full to overflowing with Life, Love, and Purity.

The first to work definitely to inculcate the constructive principles of the Law of Life should be those whose consciousness can grasp and realise that love, compassion, justice, co-operation and all constructive forces neutralise and transmute the evil that the terrible rising tide of unrest, selfishness, racial and class antagonism, labour troubles and religious bigotry and intolerance among individuals, classes and nations, may be so transmuted—or at least turned aside—that it will not find expression in a new series of armed conflicts and bloodshed.

The uniting of thousands of hearts and minds to this definite end should generate a great current of dynamic spiritual force sweeping continuously around the world and help in opening wide the everlasting doors and preparing for the quick coming of the King of Glory, not only into your own heart and life but into the lives of nations and humanity as a whole.

Repeat morning, noon and night—or oftener—but at least once each day, the following prayer to the Divine Mother, with a deep heartfelt realisation of its significance and a scientific understanding of its dynamic psychological power to awaken and stimulate into action every germ of good in the hearts of mankind.

It is noon somewhere every minute of the day, which—like a refreshing breeze—should cool the heat of conflicting interests and blow off the karmic dust of the past, which is settling upon and blinding individuals and nations to the Law of Life—harmony and co-operation.

See the radiance, which this prayer invokes, dispelling the clouds of inharmony, as the Sun dispels the fog, stimulating the growth of the good in each heart, as the Sun stimulates the growth of the sprout when the fog has been dispelled and the Sun can carry on its constructive work.

Illumine me with Divine Wisdom and Truth,

What words do I say when I pray?

Beloved One—

Teach me—

I pray of Thee—

To learn how to love and respect Your gracious self as I should.

Teach me to cast aside all narrow thoughts of my neighbours and friends.

Teach me, I pray, to deal lightly with my enemies, that comfort may come to me through the purification of my thought of another. 

Even should they sin deeply against me, let my motto ever be the perfect word Forgiveness. 

Let me try my utmost to enter into the joy of others without the sting of jealousy entering into my heart—that wonderful organ, which brings forth the lifeblood of all breathing creatures—The core of the mortal body—Just as my Soul is the core of my divinity. 

Faith, Hope and Charity are ever a great Trinity. All go to make up the great and glorious existence of every Plane. So, dear Father, and Friend, knowing this as I do through Your kind and loving teaching, I ask Your blessing with the hope that my Faith and Charity unto others may become as Godly as Thine own. Amen!

A Prayer to God for the salvation of all.

Father!—Eternal, Infinite, All-wise—

We draw near to Thee, and lay before thee our petitions, knowing that Thou dost hear us, and wilt answer our prayers. 

Eternal God, remove from our path the bars and clogs that hinder and hamper us. 

Loving Father, shed into the doubting heart, a beam of light to illumine the dark corners, and to drive out the lurking foe. 

Mighty Master, bear down to us that consolation, which we need in our labour. 

Great the labour, great must be the love. 

Great is the work, great must be the power. 

Grant it, Almighty Power! and to Thee, will we render our praises. 

Before Thee, we will testify of our grateful adoration, and to Thee, will we bring the free will offering of our loving homage. 

Glory, and blessing, and honour, and praise be to Thee, from angel, and spirit, through Thy universe!
