An Easter Prayer For You

Christmas is glorious

Of its Holy gift we sing

Of a manger and baby

Our blessed newborn king

Thanksgiving is so grand

Our thanks to God we give

For His unending bounty

Gracing each day we live

Valentines Day is romantic

A day we are filled with love

Love from spouse and family

Love from the Great One above

But there is one holiday

That rises above them all

Rewarding each one of us

Whether strong, meek or small

Of all of God's gifts

Easter shows us our fate

Forgiven we will rise

And pass through Heaven's gate

This Easter remember

The sacrifice of a Son

And through His resurrection

Eternal life we have won

This Easter I pray

That the love of God is resurrected

Reborn, renewed

Inside your heart

Draw out your heart in prayer to God.

Draw out your heart in prayer to God, as the source from whence all error is obliterated—all weakness strengthened and imperfections restored— 

O, merciful Father! open the hearts of Thy people, and give their understanding the benefit of kindness emanating from Thee that all may partake and give to each other freely. 

Give each a share of Thy grace that they may bestow it upon each other. 

Give them knowledge and wisdom to make a right use of this—Thy blessing—and a full appreciation of goodness proceeding from the heart—

Prepare them to impart it each to his fellow being, practicing it daily, and relying upon the benefit received in happiness as compensation and reward from Thee. 

May they never shrink from the duty of washing away their own perverseness of heart— making deeds of evil shine with purity, made white by their determination to atone for the past! 

May they rely upon the strength of goodness, charity, love, and kindness felt and bestowed upon all, as the growth of the heart received from Thee!

O, our Father! send Thy grace to rest upon this community in the form of knowledge and strict observance of the dictates of conscience, embalming their hearts in Thy love flowing spontaneously, and as they receive from Thee, so may their hearts be touched to give to others in return. 

In the effulgence of light given off constantly from Thy works, may the soul drink long and deep draughts from the fountain of inspiration, swelling the influx of perception, deadening heresies of the past, and calling into action divine principles fixed upon thy eternal throne. 

And, O Father! teach them, through the inspiration of Thy love, to search Nature for manifestations of Thy power, wisdom, and bounty. 

Allure them on until their minds expand and drink in a full comprehension of Thee from this source. 

May the emanations from Nature inspire wonder and gratitude sufficient to impress conviction of Thy greatness, power and mercy—imbuing their hearts with a desire to know more and more of Thee—feeling that through Thy works thou art ever present, permeating the whole universe with a principle of love, culminating in man. 

And, O Father! may they fully realise this, and the greatness of Thy design in so making man, and may he not pervert or seek to crush the boon of kindness, but let it spring forth a tree of love and friendship whose branches extend to all humanity, for such was the design, and such must be its use to reap eternal happiness.

The conqueror goes forth armed with the implements of heroism, making conquest over his foes, disarming terror, and planting peace, light, and truth. 

So may it be with Thee, O Father of Light! marching with firm tread of progression over the wickedness and errors of the people, slaying them at the feet of truth, never to rise but as obedient servants to thy laws.

Be thou the guide to all good, through the efforts of each individual seeking to obtain for himself that which thou always keepest in store for the diligent seeker. 

And reward is sure to follow through obedience to the law.

A Prayer of Petition

Help us, Eternal Father, that we may understand Thy laws.

We see Thine infinite unfoldings, day after day, and night after night.

We, Thy children, are subject to Thy laws.

May we be enabled to unravel the great system, which holds us in its embrace.

Hear our petition, Divine Intelligence, and assist us in our efforts to roll back the cloud, which has hung so long between man, and his maker.

Help us to lay aside the fetters in which ignorance has bound us.

Help us to throw off the shackles that have held us so long.

May we be in harmony with the divine influence, which ministers to us in every condition of life.

May there come no clouds between us, and those we love, and may the noonday sun of intelligence beam on all our friends.

I have a powerful prayer for you.

O Pure Spirit, Thou Love Divine, my soul thanks and blesses Thee for this perfect day in Thy Infinite Reality.

And as Thou didst foresee this day from the beginning, and hath prepared for all its needs, I acknowledge this glorious preparation and allow all things with joy and gratitude. Therefore, throughout all this perfect day—always, for all eternity, forever. More—

What will make you well?

Repeat the following prayer each morning first thing on waking. Also, whenever you feel bad, stop whatever you are doing, and repeat the prayer—

O Lord Christ, open the door of my body to perfect health. 

O Lord Christ, open the door of my mind to perfect understanding. 

O Lord Christ, open the door of my heart to perfect spiritual realisation.

Then say to yourself very positively, 

This prayer is answered. I am getting better. I cannot expect it instantly, but as the door of my body, of my mind, and of my heart is opened, all three of them are co-operating to let in the vital life-giving Christ force, which will make me well. 

Continue this until your subconscious mind takes it up and literally builds it into your body, in all your atoms, and in all your thoughts.

The Healing Prayer

If the world's sorrow oppresses you, remember that the very best you can do toward lifting that heavy load is to make a centre of joy and gladness in your own heart. 

Rejoice in the Lord, and again I say unto you rejoice. 

I wish I could impress this word rejoice upon your mind so that you could impress it upon the consciousness of every atom of your body, which consciousness in the aggregate is your subconscious mind. 

If you could register this idea of rejoicing within your subconscious mind, you would literally breathe health into your body. 

Try to realise what health really means. It means doing the Will of the Father on earth in your physical body, as it is done in Heaven in your spiritual body by your Higher Self, who is one with the Father; in which body, there is no sickness, nor sorrow, nor death. 

Take up this thought and meditate upon it while constantly repeating the Healing Prayer. 

Also, repeat the Lord's Prayer, and at the same time, feel that you are creating a circle of life and health and joy that is filled with a bright light which sends its beams far out into the darkness to lead many a one to joy and peace.

THE HEALING PRAYER

O Thou loving and helpful Master Jesus! 

Thou who gavest to Thy disciples power to heal the sick!

We, recognising Thee, and realising Thy divine presence within us, 

Ask Thee to lay Thy hands upon us in healing love.

Cleanse us from all our sins, 

And by the divine power of Omnipotent Life, 

Drive out the atoms of inharmony and disease, 

And fill our bodies full to overflowing with Life, Love, and Purity.

O Christ, the Divine Power within me,

A Prayer to God for the salvation of all.

Father!—Eternal, Infinite, All-wise—

We draw near to Thee, and lay before thee our petitions, knowing that Thou dost hear us, and wilt answer our prayers. 

Eternal God, remove from our path the bars and clogs that hinder and hamper us. 

Loving Father, shed into the doubting heart, a beam of light to illumine the dark corners, and to drive out the lurking foe. 

Mighty Master, bear down to us that consolation, which we need in our labour. 

Great the labour, great must be the love. 

Great is the work, great must be the power. 

Grant it, Almighty Power! and to Thee, will we render our praises.
