There is no real difference in the relative position of sinner and saint – not in the sight of our Almighty God.  It is only that one has progressed at a far greater rate than the other and learnt his lessons better and so taken a higher place in his class. The other, backward and slow though he may be, is still a member of the school and the great Headmaster knows that it is only a question of time before he too will be in top form.
