The spirit body is not a counterpart—or duplicate of the physical body, as some assume, else the spirit body of an elderly man would be somewhat crooked and unpleasant to look upon.
There are no such spirit bodies in the spiritual world.
The spirit body, like the physical body, is subject to the law of change, unfoldment, growth and development, and to the law of vibratory correspondence.
It does not grow old, as does the physical body, because the spirit-life is still in its infancy and is transplanted to the spiritual world before it has reached maturity.
There, in the spiritual world, it continues to evolve—to vibrate in harmony with its surroundings and to become more and more refined and beautiful.
