What is top of creation?

In The Path of the Masters, Julian Johnson says it really well―

In the meantime, while you sojourn in this dark region of matter, you have to deal with the Negative Power. 

With him, you must contend in your struggles here, while it is your duty to escape. 

The resulting struggle purges you, and makes you strong, and fits you for your homeward journey. 

This everlasting fight―this struggle in a welter of pain and blood and heart cries―is designed by the Supreme Father to purge you and make you clean―ready for your homeward ascent. 

Never become discouraged. 

All of this is designed by the Father for your benefit. 

It is much as if you enter a gymnasium to take exercise. 

If you meet these difficulties in the right spirit, you will greatly profit by them. 

The idea of pain and struggle is to purge you, and inspire in you a longing to rise above the regions of pain and shadow.

The fundamental qualities of spirit are wisdom, power, and love. 

The larger the measure of these three you possesses, the higher does your soul rank in the Grand Hierarchy. 

You, however, have the privilege, when initiated by a Perfect Master, to rise above all those planes, and reach Home. 

 Hence, you are rightly regarded as the Top of Creation.
