Why is it necessary to teach morality, and laws of justice, and to instruct men in being merciful if there is no punishment or eternal torment for misdeeds?
There is no worse punishment than that which the dissatisfied soul makes for itself.
Harmony―
Peace―
Refinement―
Mental culture and effort to benefit the race are Humanity's Ultima Thule in the spirit-world.
Where is their place in a refined spirit-world?
No man can be thoroughly good without knowledge and experience.
The placid goodness that brings individual ease is not complete goodness.
The spirit is one-sided―like that of the Brahman, it must be rounded.
Doing good to children is active goodness inculcated.
Unless you become as a little child―
Ready to learn―
Questioning, but receptive―
Having confidence in your fellow beings―
You cannot enter the kingdom of Heaven.
