Accept things as you find them―
Try to make the best of them here right now.
Remember; the looking back is memory―the looking forward is creation.
You should always keep the memory of the past as clear as possible.
It helps you to construct the future.
The present is always a stage on the high road that leads to the future. Remember that.
Cast out fear.
The future will give you no greater lessons than you can master. Remember that.
These roses under my window do not worry about whether they are better than former roses, or whether succeeding roses will be better than they.
There is simply the rose―
It exists with God today.
But human beings, heedless of the riches, which surround them, are always on tiptoe to foresee a future, and they do not know how to live completely here and now.
―Emerson
Today is the day.
You cannot live a day in advance or a day behind.
Live for the day that you are living now.
Yesterday is but a dream, and tomorrow is only a vision, but today well-lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope.
