How is it that sometimes from the most degraded a pure flower springs?
The spirit, imbued with strength, deliberately chooses an environment, which is agony indeed; chooses it because by example—by showing purity where only impurity is found—by throwing out love where hatred holds chief place—the spirit is able to demonstrate God in their midst.
