There is no here, no there, no past, no future

Is it possible for one in heaven to know what is transpiring on earth? 

Unless it is given for some special purpose, it is not possible where I am, but in a higher heaven everything is known, there is no here, no there, no past, no future, and as Christ said, In that state, there is joy over every return of the soul heavenward.
