You go outdoors and see a glorious view, a beautiful day, and your heart expands and you feel it is glorious to be alive.

Say, Father, I thank Thee for this glorious view. I thank Thee for all this beauty, which you have given me. I thank Thee, for so having made me that I am capable of enjoying it. Help me to enjoy it in Thee and with Thee.

As this habit becomes fixed, you will find the beauty increases tenfold, just as you enjoy your day out of doors more with a congenial companion than alone―or with one whose mind and mood grates on you.
