Miniature weapons of destruction?

Would that we might impress upon the mind of every parent the necessity of abandoning such toys as guns, swords or any manner of plaything, which represents in miniature the actual destructive weapon. 

Children should be allowed only those toys, which are beautiful and constructive and should never attempt to imagine so-called death in their play when they use these miniature weapons of destruction. 

There are many things with which children may amuse themselves, which would be harmless and which would bring out the better instincts, which are in every human being.
