How to find strength in difficult times?

Come to me all ye who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. How little we understand that text. We suppose it to mean to pray to Christ the Lord Jesus, but the words really never mean anything of the kind. They do mean pray earnestly and look to the spirit world for help. We may call the spiritual realms Christ—it is not one being in the person of a Christ who answers prayer, but many, very many good spirits within the spiritual world.
