What is learning the lessons of the past?

When you have perceived, as most of us do somewhere along our pathway, that you have not learned the lesson, which your experiences should have taught you, instead of regretting the experience and feeling that had you done differently you might have escaped certain griefs, let you so relate yourself to life in construction that you will only attract constructive experiences and then they will not relate you to grief.
