Value of prayer?

The value of prayer is in the attitude produced.

Prayer unconsciously tends to bring you into harmony with the Law of Spiritual Evolution and helps you in your spiritual development.

Some prayers are but the cry of a soul in distress. 

And some prayers are prayers of submission, of surrender, are prayers uttered by souls that have been in rebellion against the law of spiritual evolution and who now humbly submit to that law.
