There is nothing in life you need fear. You are safe at all times and in every place. Nothing can affect your real individuality.

Has the angel within you grown dull and sad? The light, which surrounds and pervades all is that divine grace, which you persist in shutting out of your life.

Be a useful servant of God, just in the same way as you regard your limbs as servants to yourself.

That common aim, that unity of purpose, that desire to serve, bridges all gaps.

Within, entombed in you, imprisoned in many, fettered in varying degrees in others, there is power, there is that marvellous controlling force, a perfect gift direct from God, which is your own possession to be used when you are ready to be true to your trust.

Make time! When you have no time to think, no time to pray, you have no time to live! 

I do not say neglect the body. But make its health and ease only means to the end. The body is only a machine. The work that it does ought to be for the soul.

Make time to save eternity, to possess it now and to know God. Live life in eternity now.

Awaken to the essence of who you are—I am one with God and my greatest and deepest desire is to love.

The greatest thing we can conceive is a soul, which has the capacity for achievement, and with it, humility, sympathy, and love. This seems to be the mark of the perfected human soul.

All may be summed up in these words, live and love.

Nothing can be achieved without time and patience. 

If you have the heart of a little child, the mind of an adult, and the patience, that being fed by hope never wearies, you have the three essentials or indispensables.

You have to grow strong and independent.

The problem of life is surely to avoid the waste of straying into cul-de-sacs—or being led into devious ways, which do not help you forward. In other words, what you have to do is to see the point towards which you are tending and to persistently press towards it.

The things of God come first—quietness and stillness are essential.

Although life may seem fraught with much that fills your heart with dismay, you do not walk alone—you are companioned in a way impossible to explain, and loneliness, even the word, should have no meaning to you.

Companioned by those you love the best, so the vast concourse moves forward, so your little white tent is pitched farther and farther on, nearer and nearer to your rightful home. And in a little while, a little while, so you look back over the road you have travelled and marvel that so much has been covered, so much that you overlooked, so much that you never realised you had traversed at all.

Comfort yourself with the thought that you are only away from home just for a little while. Unbroken thoughts of love reach you from that home. Keep in touch—you are not separated except by physical standards.

The best way to promote unity is to promote truth.

You measure your possibilities, not according to what you see in yourself, but according to what you see in God for you.

You should always ask if there is a better way.

Your soul is not hungry for fame, comfort, wealth or power. Those rewards create as many problems as they solve. Your soul is hungry for meaning, for the sense that you have figured out how to live, so that your life matters, so that the world will at least be a little bit different for your having passed through it.

And as you let your own light shine, you unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As you are liberated from your own fear, your presence automatically liberates others.

You have to do your part—

You must not give up at a certain point here and there the Father's love is shown. Just do your little bit, and then, without worry, without misgiving, say to yourself, and mean it, too—

God is looking after me and He has thought of everything to carry me through. Yes, in daily life, with those who seek to serve the Master, this is worked out again and again.

Keep close to better things—hold on to Christ and be certain that within you, there is that strength if only you will to keep in close contact with the Father.

Judging takes you away from your divinity. 

Believing that you are a victim, powerless or that the power of God is not with you or within you denies who you are. 

As an enlightened being, you must know that you are always safe, for you know that you are the source of all that you experience moment by moment.

O God, help me to make ready, for the great work, which lies in front. Amen

Let the seed sink in and produce those blossoms, which are symbolic of spiritual things.

Faith bridges all gaps and gives the vision to see beyond the little present.

God alone can condemn, and He alone can pardon, and His voice cries out to you in everything, in every blade of grass that grows, in every ray of light that shines.

Life is in all things and God is the Central Life of All.

God is, God is.

Human nature cannot be hurried, but it can be steadied, and the only steadying process, which is possible is by the prayers and thoughts of those who know their God.

Clearness of mental vision comes to those who have faith in God.

Glorify and praise God whose truth and wisdom are so manifest in His works.

Infinite love and wisdom rule all things.

If you control one selfish trait, which before held you captive, you may know that you have taken a real step upward.

 

Knowledge of the good and the pure is the true knowledge that Christ taught.

Love God above all things and thy neighbour as thyself include everything.

God is not personal, nor power, nor intelligence, nor love, nor life alone. He is Spirit, and Spirit includes all these. 

You must try to grasp spiritually the idea of God as an Infinite Spirit.

God is the Creator and Sustainer of everything. Love, truth, and infinite life are inseparable.

The whole Universe is before you, and your free will takes you ever higher, for as you see more clearly, so you must progress. Progress can never mean retrogression. The earth is the cradle of the human race, but that is all.

The fact that no one has ever succeeded in forming or germinating the tiniest spark of life proves conclusively that life is something outside the laws of natural science.

Each step counts. Each sincere aspiration lifts you higher. Each stumbling fall is useful if it makes you know yourself better and forces you to seek light and help from above.

Old wounds break out afresh, the memory is all too keen, the balm too insufficient. Cover up those deep stabs. Divorce yourself forever from that which is ugly and loathsome—they are past, and because you suffered, they have brought you gifts aplenty and represent unlimited treasure to you. Their recollection should not be sad, they should represent gain, not loss—they should stand for joy, not anguish.
