Gerald told me that he had been given a vision of that heaven, and it was a glory of burning light, too intense for his endurance even to look upon, but when these holy ones came to care for the little souls, they leave behind the burning glory and show ineffable tenderness. It was like nothing that I had ever seen or imagined.
