Does the Sun represent the soul?

Is there, in the spirit world, a sun similar to that of our system, doing the same work for you as our sun does for us?

No—we do not require it. We have continuous light, emanating from the great Source of All Light and by which the orbs are supplied. Were we to get our light from a sun, we should like you on earth have night and day. 

The light we have is so pure and of such a nature, that I cannot find words to explain it to you. The Medium sees it, but it is not the same to his vision as it is to ours.
