What is a sure guide at all times?

There is never a downward flight when once you start upward—the spirit never ceases in higher thought.

The joy spirits feel when you allow them to guide is unspeakable, as the more they help, the more they may. It makes them so happy to help you in all things, which have a clean motive. They cannot come in shadow of imperfect thought—remember that. They cannot shine through darkness of that kind. They are not strong enough for that.

Thoughts must be clean to receive them.

They are then free to penetrate the deepest misery to lend assistance to anyone who calls upon them.
