How does the Bible describe sinners?

There is no real difference in the relative position of sinner and saint—not in the sight of our Almighty God. 

It is only that one has progressed at a far greater rate than the other and learnt his lessons better and so taken a higher place in his class. The other, backward and slow though he may be, is still a member of the school and the great Headmaster knows that it is only a question of time before he too will be in top form.
