All things come to us by a slow awakening; by a transcending of ourselves, an unfolding, a coming out of ourselves into a knowledge of ourselves and life. And if we suddenly become conscious of some truth, it is not that the truth has come to us suddenly, but that we have suddenly become aware of its presence.

Many truths that are plainly visible within the horizon of our present spiritual development are still unobserved by us, and any of these truths may suddenly be discovered by us or revealed to us by the invisible and spiritual life with which we are surrounded.
