Spirit Love

Think well on how we love you,

Think well on how we long to help you;

To teach you and to light the way

To better thoughts, as day by day

It is our hope and constant prayer

To lead you in God's footsteps clean,

To help you feel 'tis but a dream

To live on earth and only trouble glean;

While we above, so happy in this sphere of Love,

Long to greet you and to prove

This love is true and lasting;

A gentle love, so filled with hope and joy;

For God did bless it as it passed Him by,

And breathed a kiss into its ear,

That it might speed both far and near

And bring with it much heavenly cheer.
